Biluochun is named for its tightly curled young leaves  picked before the Qingming festival, when spring’s first buds are at their most tender. Steep 3g of leaves in water just off the boil (80–85°C) for 2–3 minutes — green tea is delicate, so cooler water keeps it from turning bitter. Re-steep once if you like.
